Parking for Short-Term Visitors
There are approximately 30 parking spaces for short-term visitors without permits. They are clearly labled "Visitor."
Visitors are required to check in with Reception at the main entrance after parking. This includes carpool riders and/or Commute Club members without parking permits.
If visitor spaces are occupied, please park in a permitted space and let Reception know where you are parked.
Off-Campus service vehicle permits are available at P&TS.
Commute Club
Commute Club members are allowed unpermitted parking up to 6x per month in the ‘visitor’ designated spots and must sign in at the front desk.
Non-Stanford Permitted Vehicles
Parking at Porter Drive requires a "Z" permit, which is free of charge and available at Parking and Transportation Services. Also valid at Porter are “A” and “C” permits. Unauthorized vehicles not displaying a "Z", "A", or "C" parking permit, or not bearing the university seal/logo are subject to towing. Service vehicle stalls at Porter are available for university vehicles only.
