Business Affairs on Campus Moves: Group Level Details & Schedule

Update on the planned moves to Porter Drive

The dates for the moves by on campus personnel to Porter Drive have been adjusted. The revisions to the original move schedule dates will allow the construction work, the necessary inspections, and the furniture and equipment installation work to be sufficiently complete for use and occupancy by the various groups. The work is taking incrementally longer than initially thought relative to the aggressive schedule and the discovery field conditions related to the repairs of structural flooring and support elements; water intrusion repairs; mechanical system revisions necessary to fix broken equipment and to incorporate design modifications addressing user requests.

The new dates for the Business Units moving to Porter Drive are:

  • Controller’s Office scheduled June 27, 2008 move date is revised to July 11th
  • Administrative Systems scheduled July 11, 2008 move date is revised to July 18th
  • LBRE scheduled July 18, 2008 move date is revised to July 25th

The conference rooms and the café area in the common building (San Francisquito) at Porter Drive are anticipated to be completed by August 11. We are currently considering various options to accommodate building occupants during the period when these amenities are not available. More information will be forthcoming in the near future.

Update on 'On Campus Moves' related to Porter Drive:

The adjustment of the Porter Drive move schedule will impact some of the Business Affairs moves on campus. The new dates are as follows:

  • ORA:Accounts Receivable (Encina Suite 3) scheduled July 11, 2008 move date is revised to July 23rd
  • ITS:CRC office schedule (Encina Suite 30) scheduled July 11, 2008 move date is revised to July 23rd
  • ITS:Software Licensing (Polya) scheduled July 11, 2008 move date is revised to July 23rd (to be confirmed w/Sandy Louie)
  • ORA:OSR (Godzilla) scheduled July 19, 2008 move date is revised to July 26th
  • Internal Audit (Encina Suite 10) scheduled July 21, 2008 move date is revised to August 1st
  • HR (Bambi move only) scheduled for July 21, 2008 move date is revised to August 1st

The rest of the 'On Campus Moves' will remain on their original schedule: HR (Birch) - June 21, HR (Poplar) - June 28, HR (Juniper) - June 28, Risk Management (Encina Modular A) - June 28
